The Bethel House Emergency Assistance Program aims to prevent evictions by providing one-time financial support to help keep children and families housed.
We frequently hear from families who are unhoused after being evicted because they were $300 short on a rent payment or utility bill. And often, their funds are lacking due to missed days of work to stay home with a sick child or because of a lack of reliable transportation.
We are honored our program can be a source of support during those times.
Who is Eligible?
Our Emergency Assistance Program serves families with children under age 18 who are in their care at least 50% of the time. Families must live or work
within the Whitewater Unified School District area and/or have a strong connection to the Whitewater community.
Applicants must submit documentation supporting their request for support (lease, utility bill, etc.) before their application can be reviewed.
Families can only receive funding one time per year.
Consider contributing as little or as much as you can. Every dollar donated supports keeping local families housed.
